Step 1: Open the Facebook profile
Open the profile itself, then copy its address from the browser or Facebook’s profile-sharing menu. A post or photo link targets different content.
Use a direct profile link to preview the available picture, then save it from your browser.
Open the profile itself, then copy its address from the browser or Facebook’s profile-sharing menu. A post or photo link targets different content.
Paste the complete profile address into the box above and submit it. Keep the full link so Facebook can identify the right account.
Check that the preview belongs to the profile you selected, then use the download control. Your browser handles the file transfer.
Open the Facebook profile whose picture you want to save. Copy the profile address from the browser, or use Facebook’s option to share or copy a link to that profile. Paste the complete address into FBviddl and submit it.
Use the profile’s own link rather than a photo post, album, group, or video address. Those links point to other content. For a picture shared in a post, use the Facebook image downloader; for a short video, use the Reel downloader.
When FBviddl returns a picture, compare it with the profile you intended to open. Use the download control to save the previewed file, or choose the image-address option if you need its direct URL.
The saved file goes through your browser’s download flow. Saving a copy here does not edit the profile itself.
The tool can only request a picture Facebook exposes to visitors who are not signed in. If Facebook shows a login wall, hides the profile, or restricts its picture, FBviddl cannot bypass that setting. A profile that opens for you while signed in may still be unavailable to other visitors.
To check access, view the profile as a visitor who is not signed into Facebook. If the photo is hidden in that view, this page cannot retrieve it.
Facebook may resize or compress a profile picture and can serve different versions in different contexts. FBviddl can save only the version made available for the submitted link; it cannot restore detail removed from the upload or promise a specific pixel size.
The resolution depends on the version Facebook makes available for that profile. Check the saved file’s pixel dimensions if you need to confirm its size.
The browser’s download list shows whether the transfer completed and where the file was saved. On a computer, open the browser download panel or Downloads folder. On a phone, check the browser’s download control and the Files app or Downloads folder; exact locations depend on your browser settings.
If you only need to view the picture, use the preview first. Save a local copy when you have a reason to keep it, and avoid sharing someone else’s image without permission.
This page is for the image attached to a Facebook profile. It is not an album downloader and does not search a person’s timeline. If the image you want was uploaded as a post, open that post and use the image tool instead.
FBviddl operates separately from Meta and is not endorsed by the company. This page never asks you to enter a Facebook password. Only save pictures you are entitled to access, and get permission from the rights holder before reusing or publishing them.
A screenshot can include profile buttons, borders, and other parts of the screen, so you may need to crop it. Saving the returned image avoids capturing that interface; its detail still depends on the file Facebook serves.
For a quick personal reference, a screenshot may be enough. For a cleaner image file, use the preview and download option, then check its dimensions and appearance.
Practical answers about profile links, access limits, image quality, and saved files.
No. It only works when Facebook makes the profile picture available to a visitor who is signed out. FBviddl does not bypass login walls or audience restrictions.
Paste the profile’s own address, copied from its page or profile-sharing menu. A post, photo, album, or video URL points to different content; use the image or Reel tool for those links.
No. Facebook decides which image version is available for the submitted profile. FBviddl cannot add missing detail or promise a particular resolution, so check the preview and the saved file dimensions.
The downloader does not ask for your Facebook password. The picture still has to be visible to a logged-out visitor; a profile that requires sign-in will not be available here.
Yes. Open FBviddl in a current browser, submit the profile link, and use the preview controls. Your browser manages the saved file on both mobile and desktop.
Check your browser’s download panel. On a computer it is often in Downloads; on a phone it may appear in the browser download list, Files app, or Downloads folder, depending on your settings.
Confirm that you copied the profile address rather than a post link, then check whether the profile picture is visible while signed out. Re-copy a current link if the profile changed; restricted or unavailable pictures cannot be retrieved.
If the result offers a Copy Image URL control, select it to copy the address of the returned image. That address may stop working if Facebook changes or removes the image.
Downloading a copy does not give you permission to publish, edit, advertise with, or impersonate someone using the picture. Ask the rights holder before reusing it and respect the person’s privacy.
